Moreton Island

SwimMastery Swim Camp

Thursday 13 March - Sunday 16 March 2025

Join us for our Moreton Bay (Mulgumpin) Swim Camp

Including Video Analysis, Swim Technique Coaching and Open Water Adventure Swims

Mulgumpin means the “place of Sandhills” and is the Aboriginal name for Moreton Island. With stunning turquoise waters and pristine beaches, our swim camp is designed for swimmers of all levels. Join us on this 4 day, 3 night camp as we explore the crystal clear waters of Moreton Island/Mulgumpin. We will explore the fascinating shipwrecks that dot the coastline, parts of the Island that are off the beaten track and hopefully encounter some of the friendly local dolphins. This Island (a short ferry ride from Brisbane) is the perfect opportunity to hone your swimming technique, connect with marine life and create lasting memories. With technique work each day and open water swims to practice your learnings, this camp provides a unique swimming experience.

  • Swimming Technique

We have a wide range of swimmers attend our camps. These include swimmers recovering from injury, new swimmers, triathletes, families and friends, mature age swimmers etc. We tend to swim at an easy to medium pace (and there is an opportunity for faster swimming if you want to).

In this camp we will be swimming as one group in the open water.

We coach the SwimMastery technique. We focus on how the mind and body work together in the water. This technique keeps your joints safe and we learn how to use body mechanics to maximise your swimming potential.
